Birchall Virunga Earl Grey is an aromatic tea that can be enjoyed throughout the day. This magnificent tea is a pure origin blend sourced from estates across East Africa which is widely acknowledged as the growing some of the finest tea. The Virunga estate in this area is famous for its adherence to its sustainable methods and techniques.
Bergamot oil is used in this Birchall Virunga Earl Grey tea which offers a bright citrus flavour with floral notes that can be served either with or without milk.
Plastics are found within most tea bags, which is a commonly unknown fact. However, the award-winning prism tea bags which Birchall create are not only plastic-free but also fully biodegradable using a corn starch deriving from plants named “SoilOn”. Under the correct environmental conditions these tea bags will compost down through a process which generally takes around 2-4 years in water or soil.
