Blending the gentle sweetness of green tea and the light floral notes of jasmine flowers, Birchall Jasmine Tea Pearls have been masterfully sourced in Birchall’s pursuit of excellence in China’s Fujian province where each year the purest examples of this classic green tea are harvested.
The leaves are gently rolled, after picking, into delicate pearls and then infused with the beautiful scent of jasmine. To release the intoxicating scent of jasmine, these exquisite pearl-shaped jewels are steeped to reveal a pale, light- bodied beverage.
With biodegradable mesh netting and the special shape of the prism tea bags this design enables the purest possible infusion. Packaged within the foil bag you will find 15 string and tag tea bags.
Plastics are found within most tea bags, which is a commonly unknown fact. However, the award-winning prism tea bags which Birchall create are not only plastic-free but also fully biodegradable using a corn starch deriving from plants named “SoilOn”. Under the correct environmental conditions these tea bags will compost down through a process which generally takes around 2-4 years in water or soil. Using an industrial food waste system however, this process happens a lot quicker (typically within 12 weeks) and so we highly recommend contacting your local council to discover if they offer a collection service in your area for food waste recycling.
