Sourced from China, famous for their finest teas, Birchall Green Tea is an authentic, pure green tea. Greens teas have been widely celebrated for centuries for their cleansing, detoxifying and other therapeutic properties and are high in antioxidants.
Birchall Green Tea have masterfully sourced a Mao Feng, with its deep green leaves this traditional plant when infused delivers a smooth, yellow beverage which develops into an aromatic delight.
Plastics are found within most tea bags, which is a commonly unknown fact. However, the award-winning prism tea bags which Birchall create are not only plastic-free but also fully biodegradable using a corn starch deriving from plants named “SoilOn”. Under the correct environmental conditions these tea bags will compost down through a process which generally takes around 2-4 years in water or soil. Using an industrial food waste system however, this process happens a lot quicker (typically within 12 weeks) and so we highly recommend contacting your local council to discover if they offer a collection service in your area for food waste recycling.
